In order to make it accompanies you for a long time, learn some basic tips on how to take care of your jewel:

• Avoid direct contact with creams and perfumes, as they may contain chemicals that can tarnish or even dissolve the gold layer. For this reason, you should apply all your lotions and perfume before putting on your gold plated jewelry and wait until they are dry or have been absorbed by your skin.
• It is important that you remove your jewelry piece when you exercise, shower, or bathe, especially in salted or chlorinated water.
• Protect your piece from impact against hard or abrasive surfaces.
• After each use, you should gently wipe your jewelry with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth. 
• When you are not wearing your piece, lay it separately on a dry, flat place, preferably in its original casing, protecting it from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.
• If your jewelry needs more cleaning you may soak it in mild soap and lukewarm water solution for a few minutes and then dry it with a very soft cloth.
